Missions

The next short term mission team has been formed and the dates are set (March 7-17, 2008). Grace Community Church will send its second of what we hope will be four teams, in our ongoing partnership with El Alfarero (The Potter’s Church) in Lima, Peru.  Among the items the team hopes to accomplish are:

1) Construction on pastor’s residence directly above the church
2) An Evangelistic Outreach Dinner
3) A Ladies’ Bible Study
4) A Youth-oriented Event.

Here’s how you can pray for the team as they plan for the upcoming trip:

1) The team will be totally dependent on the Lord [Mark 12:30]
2) Their hearts will be knit together [Col 2:2]
3) Strong relational ties will be formed with our brothers and sisters in Peru and they will be encouraged  [I Thes. 3:2].
